Wambrechies, Quesnoy sur Deûle and Deûlémont lie on the banks of the Deûle, to the north of Lille and close to the Belgian border. These three towns in the Deûle valley are enjoying a boom in river and canal tourism – Marina at Wambrechies- Locks and moorings at Quesnoy sur Deûle – Marina at Deûlémont. Among the tourist attractions of the Deûle valley are, in Wambrechies, the distillery, the dolls and toys museum, the fire-fighters museum, tourist tram and boat rides, the indoor games area, climbing walls and the floral park. In Quesnoy sur Deûle and Deûlémont, boat rides and canoeing and kayaking. All three towns offer numerous opportunities for days out on walks, cycle rides or horseback.
